Just curious from some of the more seasoned people here what projector they might go with on a budget of 1000-2000 bucks. The projector needs to be Native 16:9. Looking for the best bang for the buck so to speak. Using this for DVD and X-Box primarily.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again everyone.

If you haven't already, take a look at http://www.projectorcentral.com/ . They give recommendations on projectors by price range. I'd also keep an eye on the new Infocus 4805 ($1500). It has received a lot of early praise. The first big shipments are just now going out, so I'm sure reviews will be pouring in here and on AVS shortly.

How far out are you willing to go for the "best bang for the buck?"

If you want the absolute best, a used CRT is the way to go for film material, but it is a project compared to a digital at the same price.

But then again, the performance is not even comparable to digitals in the same pricerange, whose performance is not so great.
