Projector for 1st home theatre room... (1 Viewer)

Is there a good "widescreen" projector under or around $1000.00?

I don't want something cheap, but I do have a budget. I would prefer something with a wide screen ratio. I will be mounting it on the ceiling and using a Niles remote extender for it.

Any help would be appreciated.

There are several pj's for under a grand and although I do not have on the Panasonic AX200 is under a grand and seems to get good reviews. It is bright so you can watch the game with some lights on or change modes and use it for movies and it is widescreen too.
