Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong forum,

Hopefully someone here can give some advice.

I am hooking up my projector and would like to know what cable will provide the best quality.

I can ether use a straight s-video cable or a vga to component cable, as the projector has vga input and the dvd has component out put.

With a cable length of 15M what is going to be better.

How well do the vga-component cables sync?

Thanks

James

James, you will get a much better picture using the Component to VGA cable.

15' is no problem for either cable. I am running a 15'.

I have been using this cable seup for 5 years and never had a problem with synching. You just need to be sure the PJ is capable of converting the resolution you input.

Did this exact same thing recently with my projector. I was using S-video then changed to VGA to Component cable. Made a HUGE difference!!! My cables had to be 50ft long. I never had a problem.
