    Hi all.

I currently own a Sony KP53HS10 (about 2 years old), which has recently been ISF'd. I live in Boston, MA, but planning to move overseas (to Puerto Rico, where I am from) in about a year.

Now for my question: Has anyone had gone through a similar moving experience? Are there any companies you may suggest that can handle this equipment?

More fundamentally, should I just sell the set and purchase a new one there?

    Thanks in advance!

Projection sets are pretty hearty in my experience. Unless it's handled particularly roughly, it should make the journey fine. Aside from convergence drift, your calibration really won't suffer either.

If at all possible I would personally sell the unit and buy another when you get there.

Much less hassel. Furthermore if you equate the cost of shipping the thing it might even be a better choice. Have you found out how much it will cost you to ship?
