Projection TV Advice Needed (1 Viewer)

I'm new to the forum and Home Theater. I'm about to buy my first large screen TV and I have decided that I do want a wide-screen format. Beyond that I don't have much knowledge.

I'm looking for a 50"-55" screen for around $2000. Can anyone make any specific suggestions or point me toward reviews or info which would help me make a decision? Any help is appreciated.

Not sure exactly what info you are looking for. I have a 42" samsung widescreen and the quality of it is very good. I would trust anything samsung makes. If you dont already have one tho youll WANT to get a progressive scan DVD player to go with it ($100). This forum is a great place for info tho, I would pick out 3-4 TVs that interest you, maybe look at them in a store, then post some questions here and ask people who have that TV what they think.
