Hey guys! I have been lurking around the forums for a while now and decided to turn to this pool of knowledge known as Home Theater Forum for help.
I currently have a RPTV (Toshiba 40H80) partnered with a Panasonic RP-91 DVD player via Monster Component cables. The picture looks fine most of the time, but when I switch to Progressive Scan mode, lines appear in the darker parts of the picture (blacks, shadows, night sky, etc.) I have the television in "Full" mode when I go to progressive scan, but I am not sure if there is anything else I must do to the television to achieve the proper picture. The lines kill the viewing experience, and have me itching to pick up another television, which I don't want to get right now. Thanks in advance.
