Can progressive scan players reduce or eliminate overlapping of frames on dvds? For example, if there was an error on the dvd where two frames were slightly misaligned, would a pscan player fix it?

Can you clarify this a little better????

There is certainly bad edit detection, and it really does work on Faroudja based Progressive Scan players.

Yes, say Frame One and Frame Two slightly overlap, causing a slight blur to the image if paused. When watched at normal speed, it almost appears to be a jump cut or a stutter.

I do believe the bad edit detection feature would handle that well. Not all Progressive Scan players have bad edit detaction though.
