I recently purchased a Yamaha DSP-A1 Integrated Amplifier and it's somewhat odd with it's gold color and dark wood side panels.

Now for a DVD player I would really like one to match the DSP-A1.

The options I have seen are..

JVC - Low End Progressive Scan - Cheap under $200
    Panasonic - Semi-pro Progressive Scan DVD-RP91 under $400
Yamaha - DVD-C900 Interlaced Perfect Match under $200

I have a 65" Toshiba and I'd really like to keep progressive scan, but will the Yamaha be so much less of a picture that it'll be unbearable to watch? It really sucks that I have no local shops with the Pana or Yamaha (discontinued) to compare.

Thoughts if you were making this purchase?

No brainer: RP-91. Why needlessly compromise on the player when the rest of your electronics are high-quality?

Very, very much what Neil said, Tommy. Video performance is much more important than some aesthetic consideration.
