Progressive Scan by using s-video from digital cable box??? (1 Viewer)

My tv does not have component or s-video connections, however my digital cable box has s-video...will i get a progressive scan picture using the s-video connection on my cable box and then run the coaxial from cable box to tv? Thanks!

No way. You only get progressive on a component cable into a TV that supports it. If your TV does even have component cables, it cannot do 480p.
