Programming the Sony RM-PG411 remote (1 Viewer)

My Sony DE985 came with this remote and I followed the instructions to program a non sony component. They say to press Enter when you're done and the light witll flash twice to say it worked, but the light just stays on.

Does anyone know how to program this remote?

OK I jsut realized there are kind of 2 Enter keys on the remote and I was pressing the wrong one. I still can't figure out how to tell it what device to control.
