Newbie Mike B here, with another nebie question, that I shall ask in all my newbie-ness.
If I were to have a DVD w/ progressive scan output on a non-digital, 4:3 TV, would the picture quality difference be significant when compared to interlaced? Or is it something I shouldn't worry about until I get an HDTV (which won't be for some time. $$$).

Unless you have an HD ready set you would get no benifit from a progressive scan player..You would have to use the interlaced 480i output on the progressive player for it to work..
