hey everyone. looking for some help with the Phantom Menace dvd.
i can't access the easter eggs with my pioneer 434. entering the "1138" doesn't work, whenever i type the first number in it acts as if i'm selecting an option. and strangely, there is no "title" function on my remote.
is it possible i won't be able to view the easter eggs with the pioneer?
    thanks!

got it to work the first time on my DV-C36, but now I can't access the gag reel again. Leap year easter egg...only works once every four years on my machine.

well after endless fiddling i finally got it to work with the Pioneer. Pretty funny stuff. The extras on this disc are great, probably better than the film!

The gag reel is on Disc 1.
    Press for the Options menu
    Then press 1, 1, 3, 8, (or 10+, 1, 3, 8) and the reel will start automatically
The only other extras I have found is on the deleted scene section.
    Select deleted scenes only
Then you should be able to highlight a small box near the selections on the left hand side to get a small documentary on the deleted scenes.
By the way, if you play the Documentary on Deleted Scenes, there is some great footage at the end of the part of the battle at the end that was cut, including more footage of the "duel of the fates" in the Theed Generator Room. Given that the special effects are completed on these, I would have loved to have seen these reincorporated into the film, but it is nice to at least be able to see them
