    Hello,

My new disc freeze all over the place. I have tried the disc in different players and the same issue occurs.

Maybe is a defective disc but I wanted to be sure that is not a production problem.

    Anybody care to comment?

    Thanks in advance.

It's a Universal release & a DVD-18 (dual-sided, dual-layered), a deadly combo. More and more people seem to have trouble with these damn things. Last night a similar thread popped up in the TV section about Las Vegas Season 2. Same studio, same disc type, same damn issues.

Oh great, I thought it was just my copy that did this. It only happened to me during Chapters 18-19, infact I couldn't even watch the ending without it freezing/skipping. I did try it on an older player I had and it seemed fine, though I only tried the above chapters real quick.

I'm going to take mine back today to exchange, so I hope this isn't a general problem with the disc.

    Nick,

If I were you, I'd wait a little while to exchange the disc. Maybe it is an issue with a production batch.

    Thanks for the response.

There's a bigger thread on this issue from the time of the release.

Hope my copy's OK, didn't have a chance to watch yet.

Universal... why do we continue to let them get away with this? Enough is enough...

Just watched it last night on my old Toshiba 6200, no problems what so ever, all the extras on the flip played fine.
