I have a Panasonic sabt235 bluray surround sound system. When the tv is on only one speaker works, if the bluray is on when a bluray movie is being played all the speakers work great, how can I get other speakers to work when regular TV(Cable) is on, which is 98% of the time.

How is the TV connected to the amplifier?

Yes. And is there a cable box involved? And the types of connections, too (HDMI? RCA connectors?) Info on the model of the TV would be good, too.

I'm gonna guess Fred might be outputting audio directly from his TV to the Panasonic system.

I would try to put an optical cable from the TV to your D1 or D2 input on the HTiB unit. Now set the HTiB to that input and change the soundfield until you get to one you like. I'm thinking DOLBY PL II MOVIE or S. Surround will work well.
