I have a Panasonic Widescreen RPTV and recently noticed a striping effect starting at the right edge and running horizontally to about the center of the screen. The stripes present themselves as shades of dark and light and are about 3-4 inches wide and 3-4 inches apart. They appear mostly during bright scenes and definitely in the grey bars while watching 4:3 material. Has anyone else run into this type of problem?
    Thanx,
    Lin

I assume you've done all of the typical alignment stuff with the set?? If you've not done that, do it and see if that makes any difference. IF it doesn't get it fixed/looked at while you've got the warrenty in place.

This sounds like raster ringing to me. A knowledgeable ISF tech can fix it. As a DIY it's a little risky if you know what you're doing and flat-out risky if you don't... I wouldn't try it personally.
I saw this on my Tosh after I'd had it for about 2 months... ended up trading in for a Mits after nothing I tried would fix it, including ISF.
