The problem I am having, is that when trying to watch a standard 4:3 program, I have lost the ability to watch it in "NORMAL" mode with the gray bars on the side. When I toggle between NORMAL and FULL they look exactly the same. ZOOM and WIDE ZOOM work as they should. I can't understand why this is happening, and I've tried everything I can think of as far as what is on the on-screen menu.

Has anyone ever heard of something like this? It is extremely frustrating.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

    Greetings

What kind of signal are you feeding the TV? What input type?

Well, multiple signals. But it does the same thing, whether I am using the input from the cable box, or just the cable signal without the box. So it's not as if the cable box is causing the problem.

    Thanks for your response.

Also, when I use the picture by picture, the aspect ratios are correct. The 4:3 picture shows up as 4:3. So I'm almost positive it is not a source issue but an issue internal to the TV.
