Okay I am not sure if this should go here or in the Music section but I am going to start here. I have finally gotten some time to watch the new Led Zeppelin DVD. On the first DVD I am getting a crackle or static from the center channel on the Dobly Digital track (it is not there on the DTS or PCM track). It sounds like what happens if you record something at too high of a volume. I have checked my system and other DVD and it is just occurring on this DVD.

Has anyone else heard this or do I have a defective disc?

    Laters,
    Jeff

Is that during Plant's harmonica at the beginning of 'Bring it on Home'?

If so, my DD5.1 gave off the same static, but it disappeared when his harmonica showed up later on in the track.

The only other problem I had was that on the second disc's booklet, the centre page (actually 4 pages back and front) was an upside-down copy of one of the first booklet pages [IMG]

I'm not complaining too much though, the set is fantastic.

I am having the same problem on the DD 5.1 track of the first disk. I thought that the static was in the left front channel. This is a shame since I prefer the DD track more since the DTS track is a bit too bright for my taste.

Yeah it could be in the front left channel. I have to do some more testing tonight.

Thanks for the replies so far!!
