Problem with an old Sony receiver

I have a Sony STR-K750P(?). I just bought a new Onkyo receiver though, so I was planning to use this old Sony as basicly a switcher for some of my excess analog devices. Problem is the A/V Out on the receiver doesn't seem to do anything. The Monitor Out works fine, but not the other outputs. Any ideas?

In terms of video what are you plugging in to the receiver and what are you not getting out?

VCR/PS2 (all composite A/V). Like I said, it comes out the Monitor Out but not the other A/V out.

Edit: This is interesting. Any source EXCEPT Video1 is output by those other A/V jacks. That pisses me off.

Not exactly surprising given that it is a HTiB receiver. What you describe is not that uncommon actually. Most receivers want to output video via monitor out. Wouldn't it be easier to just buy a switch?

I have a couple cheap switcher things, but they all require you to actually get up and push a damn button. I prefer to have a remote, and I don't have anymore more cash to spend on something fancy.
