Problem with a Philips Widescreen TV, please Help!!! (1 Viewer)

Hi
I have the following problem:
When there is some dark scene and there is some type of illumination (white) in the sides of the image, the light makes a ghost effect along the image.
Only happens with the component video (not progresive scan TV).

Are you dscribing "bleeding". If so, this would be one of the reasons to use the component connection rather than composite. I have noticed the same phenomenon comparing s-video to component.

The cable are the Recoton "Component" video cable..... then, I'm using the wrong cable?

ohhh, sorry for my error, this "bleeding" only happen with the "component" video connection, with s-video or composite the bleeding is gone.
