i have a crt rp tv when we watch dvds we get one image trailing another had a service agent come out & say that this is normal for these tvs said it is caused by something called double conversion then said that 100hz tvs suffer with it as well has anyone ever heard of this & can it be fixed thanks

At 100 Hz it is possible for the next frame to be drawn before the previous frame has faded on the phosphors. This can result in ghost images. There is no fix for this.

All CRT based TV sets rely on fading of the phosphors to display motion correctly.
