I am connecting a Denon AVR-4806 using the HDMI output into a Mits HC-900 with an HDMI to DVI converter. The picture, whether I am looking at a DVD menu or a blank screen with just the Denon onscreen menu, looks great, as far as the left two-thirds are concerned, but the right third of the screen is a repeat of the left third. I have tried every setting change I can find. Normally I would have defaulted to the assumption of faulty equipment, but this is my first install with an upconverted HDMI out, and I can't help but wonder if the two just aren't communicating properly. I know it has something to do with the receiver because a straight connection to the projector from the DVD player using component of composite yeilds a normal picture. Any suggestions?

What kind of resolution are you trying to feed the TV? It may be a problem of what you are trying to feed it...

When I am looking at the Denon's output on the TV the projector says it is in 480i.
