Even if it was, smaller differences could be perceptible influence the whole experience, without one being able to point out exactly what the difference was. I believe that minute perceptions of our everyday life affect the way we think without us being aware of it: You might not like someone because he/she has a smell that you are not consciously aware of, but makes you feel uncomfortable.
What you saying has more to do with the person you describe than his or her experience of the "subject",which may or may not even exists.
