I was wondering if anyone would give me a crash course on Dolby ProLogic IIx. I would like to know what you need, besides the receiver that decodes it of course, what it does, and if you can get away with only two stereo receivers.

Thanks

Where ProLogicII made 5 channels out of 2 (stereo), ProLogicIIx adds a 6th or 7th channel depending on the number of amp channels and speakers you have. I'm not sure if, when using 2 SB speakers (7.1) if the signals are the same or if they are matrixed. The sources I'm reading are not clear on this. But IIx is simular to DTS Neo:6 which is 6.1 only. ??? Did you mean speakers? If so then no. You need 6 or 7.
