Pro Logic II Help!!!!

    If my dvd player doesnt support pro logic II but my receiver does, will i have pro logic II? than

    what are the major differences between the two and which would u guys pick?

    If your receiver decodes it, that's all you'll need. Dolby Pro-Logic II isn't a new encoding method. It gets the same source material that regular DPL does (i.e. two channel stereo mixes). It's just a better method of extrapolating surround channels from that material.

    its not a DVD thing at all, its a receiver thing that decodes regular old 2 channel matterial better than the original Pro-Logic
