I am willing to give away my Prisoner of War game for the Xbox and pay for shipping in North America.
This is what I want to do.
Anybody who wants to try this crappy game out leave a post and an email on the board email, leave name and address.
The first 2 people to respond will be chosen where the #1 guy will get the game first, then the #2 guy will email their address to #1, so that when #1 is finished being board to death #2 guy can go through the same torment as #1 did,but the #2 guy must repost this game after he is finished and get 2 more people to try this game and so on.
Everybody involved here must pay shipping to the next guy,
shipping is only done in north America.
Go with the cheapest shipping and it will work out to less then renting a crappy game.
This entire idea will be known as THE MILES OF BOARDOM TOUR
The unlucky chosen will be posted as it goes, remember it will be the first 2 people who respond buy saying they want to try the game.:p)

Sounds like a fair deal, if you'll mail it to me I'll try it, post a review and then pay shipping to the next in line....

I'm even willing improve on the deal. I don't have any crappy games to give away but I'll send you one of my not so great DVDs so you can review it and contuinue the cycle.

This is actually a great idea! I'm not interested in this title, but if it catches on we should try this with other crappy games.

    Jason Quillen,

Hey when you get this game, you could save shipping and just drop it off to me. I live 5-10mins from UofD. Like to try it out. Glad to see another Delaware HTF member.

    Ray,
This was a really cool idea [IMG] I am really shocked that you would be willing to just give away a game for others to try out. Even though if you hate the game why keep it.
BTW, Ray did you finish the game?

Greg, I figured the game would just sit and do nothing, ya I paid full price for it which was my mistake but live and learn so I have no problem giving the game away, maybe the game companies that monitor these boards will have a look at what we are doing with crap games and smarten up a bit and realize people don't want to pay good money for crap and if they do they are willing to exploit the game for everybody to see.

The game arrived today. I've neither played it nor read any reviews of the title but based on the cover it looks like something that I would have bought myself. I'm keeping my hopes up here, there's always a chance that this game is the best thing since sliced bread and you guys are just giving it a bad rap, we'll see tonight........

Carl's preview..... Prisoner of War for XBox
The graphics are sub par, would be at home on N64
The voice acting is below average, i've heard better on the Jerry Springer show
The gameplay is a unique combination of Oregon Trail on the Apple II (aka the first computer game I ever played) and the first Resident Evil on PSX. It's very linear, very repetitive, and I can understand how someone who grew up with Mario Bros on the NES as their first game would call it boring. I've played more than my share of horrid games but thus far I don't count this amongst them.
    to be continued.....
