Now why is it that the shower scene of all places looks really terrible with all of those little lines going down the print. Will MGM or DePalma try to restore the entire print. Now why is it that the major scares are only heared through the front speakers. How did they change the shower scene for tv since it is obvious that they can't show nudity on regular and cable tv

It's funny (although a little off topic) that you say US tv could not show Carrie shower seen uncut, because here in the UK up until two years ago hard core porn was illegal but Carrie, Basic Instinct, Sirens, (Manon Des Sources is shown mid afternoon for godsake) are shown on network television (i.e. free to air terrestial tv broadcast nationwide that absolutely anybody that has a tv can receive) regularly and uncut, go figure ???

Out here, The Terminator love scene on TBS Supperstation is cut allmost in its entirety! CBS couldn't show Pierce Brosnan taking off Terri Hatcher's dress in tommorrow nerer dies. I mean nothing but the back of Hatcher can be seen. The u.s must be extreamly strict.
