Hello,

I've been reading these forums for a couple of months now looking for people's opinions on some HDTVs. While browsing, I've noticed requests for people to upload their receipts so that they can take them to their local store and get a price match. I was thinking about creating a central website dedicated solely to this purpose. I was wondering if you guys would be interested in something like this. I don't want to take the time and effort to develop it if it won't be used. Also, does anyone know of any legal problems I would have? I notice that this forum discourages posting of receipts, so I was wondering if there is a legal issue. Thanks!

Well, with Photoshop, you could generate altered scans of receipts and abuse a store's price match policy. That's just the far end of the negatives with such a site that hosted such receipts. At this point, we would find posting that sort of info to be inappropriate for this forum.
