Price check: Marantz SR 6400. (1 Viewer)

I received a "b-stock" Marantz SR 6400 as a warranty replacement for an SR 6200. Its faster at detecting the digital signal than the 6200 was, but I'm spoiled by the older used SR 8000 I'm using now, so I'm going to sell the 6400 if thats what I'm ending up with. Has a tiny scratch on the side, but is otherwise in excellent shape. I'll put it up for sale, but I'm not exactly sure what its worth. Local store said they didn't have one in stock right now but their price was $1000.00 CDN. Anybody have some feedback on this? I can't post a for sale thread without a price

Saw that. Thanx. Unfortunately that place is a no go for us Canadians even for me to buy an upgrade Marantz. The taxes and duties are brutal. On new stuff, ok, but refurbished older units? Best to buy used from someone and save.

Nevermind. I won't be selling the 6400 yet. For now at least, the Marantz rep is helping me find a receiver that works.
