this is a kinda lame question,but which would I need to get to use the logic 7 setup on my HK520?Also what is the diference between the two?

Greg,
Here's a primer on amplifiers and pre-amplifiers. I cannot tell you whether or not the HK520 needs an extra amplifier for "logic 7", because I don't know that machine. But it won't likely be a pre-amplifier it may need.

Is this the HK AVR 520? If so, it's a complete receiver, with 7 channels of amplification. All it should need is speakers and a source.
