Pre-Processor or Receiver Sugestions (1 Viewer)

My marantz AV-9000 lost its sub-woofer channel. I was very happy with it for the four years I have use it.

I tried several pre-processersors and receivers. Like a Yamaha 2400, B&K reference 50, etc. For one reaon or another I was not happy with their performance and/or remote and/or quality control.

I am now thinking about the Marantz SR-9300V. Anybody has any comments on this hardware? One of the reasons I am thinking about a receiver instead of a
pre-amplifier/processor is to have a back-up to my sherbourn 5/200 discrite mono-block amplifier. The Marantz 9700V will supply the other two amps for the 7.1 channels.

I would appreciate your sugestions...
