I am in the process of updating this. What would you add?
1) DD EX, DTS-ES, DPL II
2) DSP mode(s) to expand 2.0 through 5.1 sources to 6.1/7.1
3) 24/192 DACs and ADCs
4) 5.1 analog passthrough with analog bass management
5) 2 channel analog passthrough with analog BM
6) flexible digital BM (slopes & crossovers for each speaker)
7) at least 1 digital record out
8) inputs: analog (VCR, lp, cassette, tuner) and coax (DAT, DVD/CD, CD-R/RW)
9) outputs: 3 analog record outs (DAT, CD-R/RW, cassette)
10) nameable, assignable inputs
11) proper distance/delays for all speakers independently
12) "cinema re-eq" and THX Ultra2 desired
13) useable, dedicated remote (low bat use)
14) CD/PCM upsampling
15) no noticeable hiss, lock on delay, or input cross-talk
16) operation by front panel display only (OSD not needed)
17) parametric EQ/notch filter for sub/mains
