    hey guys...

i figure someone here might be able to explain what effect the matching or mismatching of input / output impedances of pre-pros and amplifiers has. i have an aragon 8008x3b and will more than likely add an aragon 8008bb. their input impedance is 22K ohms. i'm not sure what to use as a pre as of yet though i'm eyeing the outlaw 950, sherbourn clone, and possibly the classe ssp-30 (doubtful though). the output impedance of the classe is 50K ohms. i'm not sure about the outlaw or the sherbourn. my question is what effect do these differing amounts really have. thanks for any input you can provide.

thanks for the correction on the classe, i just typed what i saw on their site. i'm not that worried about the pre/pro's ability to drive the amplifier...i have just always wondered what effect the differences input / output ratings would have if at all.
