I just received my new Acurus A200x5 and Silvercat interconnects. When I hook up the interconnects to the pre-outs on my Integra 7.1 A/V Receiver, the metal jacks touch. I haven't powered up yet and I am afraid to like this. Is this a problem or no big deal since they are only pre-outs?
I don't want to blow my receiver or new amp!?!?!

The outer part of the rca jack is the common ground. They are linked internaly anyway so no harm will be done.

Mike O'Connell posted the same concern when he first hooked up his SilverCats but with no problem whatsoever.
