Congratulations to Kino, the first distributor to announce/release 1000+ new-to-blu catalog titles of 1900-1989 vintage.
Criterion is 2nd with 627, and Shout Factory is 3rd at 519.
The top studio to release their own holdings themselves (and 4th overall) is Warner at 459.
I think it's very impressive that a relatively small company, like Criterion, has managed to release 627 pre-1990 movies on BD. And, IMO, that achievement is particularly remarkable, since Criterion, to its credit, puts such an emphasis on the films contained on its Blu-rays having been transferred to Blu-ray with about the best picture & sound quality possible.
