PPV and DD on Dish Network? (1 Viewer)

I've noticed that the PPV on DishNetwork indicate that they are broadcast in DD. On my Dish500 system, what's the best way to ensure that I'm going to get a DD signal? My current connection scheme is from the Dish receiver to the JVC receiver through composite audio/video connections. Do I need a new Dish receiver?

You need to have either a coaxial or optical digital output from your Dish Receiver in order to enjoy Dolby Digital.

Make sure your dish receiver is capable of DD...They all are not, specifically the lower end dish receivers..

Looks like I need to get some model-specific info tonight when I get home. I'm not sure if the Dish receiver I have has a digital out or not. I know it's not the bottom of the barrel receiver (that one's downstairs in the guyroom), so it's at least a step up from there. Thanks!
