That should be plenty. If memory serves, I think people even recommend the smaller size amp by partsexpress (Tom Vodhanel, too, I think). You may even consider downsizing to save some cash.

That would be pretty sweet to have a remote for the sub! I was thinking about the same amplifier.

Would be pretty convienent. I hate having to get up during a movie to go play with the sub but i am always doing it.
