SVS specifically. Now I know I have made alot of posts and I have made up my mind. Come my birthday, april, Im going to go meet ron and listen to a couple SVS subs. If I still think it is worth it as compared to a sunfire I will purchase one. Now the thing is I just have a few more questions.

Whats the major difference between a CS-Plus and PC-Plus? There is about a $200-300 difference between the powered sub and the non powered. Im guessing the non powered has more upgrade options for the future. Bigger amp or sub later on, or add another sub for cheaper. But is there a difference in quality?

Well thank you guys for your input.

I don't think there is a quality difference. One with an integrated amp can be easier to deal with. I have always liked passive subs myself. Don't forget that you need to supply the amp yourself, and depending on what you get it could cost more than the powered sub.
