Power Save (1 Viewer)

My Sony DE985 receiver has a power save option in the settings. Every setting has a description in the manual except the Power Save setting.

Does anyone know exactly what power save does? Does it out the receiver in stand by if there is no signal for a while like on the subwoofer or is it something else?

Use less power at idle to keep heat and power use down.
