Here is a question. I need a power bar which can be turned on/off by a remote control. Is a X10 route is the only way to go here? I have Cinema7 and Sony vl900, so remote itself is not important for me as I should be able to teach vl900. What would be the cheapest way (maybe DIY) to get this thing?

I just bought a Monster HTS2500 line conditioner, it works with my remote. Comes with an AC cord which plugs into the receiver. Works with DC as well.
