I saw that Warners have announced the outcome of their AOL poll, and one of the titles to be released next January is 'The Postman Always Rings Twice'. However, I'm not sure whether they are referring to the 1946 version or the 1981 version (with Jack Nicholson). Can anyone confirm which one is being released. I know the 1981 version has previously appeared on DVD, but it was a full-frame effort, and could certainly benefit from being re-mastered.

In more good news, according to turnerclassicmovies.com, the upcoming Postman Always Rings Twice DVD will contain TCM's acclaimed documentary "The John Garfield Story." Very good news, indeed!
