Need some pics on paint colors, looking for ideas. Would like a modern combo of light-med grey and some sort of modern in style green (grey top half of wall and ceiling, green bottom half of wall).

PLMK-thanks!

Ceiling = Flat Black
Walls = Black Fabric
Floor = Black Carpet
Everything else = Flat Black

If your not going to to anything in that room other then watch movies, there is no better color.

Almost forgot to mention that my carpet in the theatre matches the ceiling. Makes the room completely dark when watching movies.

As well, all paint is in ultra matte... no reflections whatsoever!

Cheers,
Andrew

Pics here.

Bulkhead is dark purple, ceiling is dark grey, walls are faux finished but color tone is a purply greyish brown (how's that for a description). If you want full details I can track down my paint chips or even formulas.

Not sure what you mean by "current colors."

If you are using FP, Home Theater Magazine recommends darkish gray for walls. It will not impart any residual coloration (reflective) to the screen.

I'm in the early planning stages of my HT. Right now I'm thinking of going with a dark blue with natual maple stained molding. I'm also considering a dark dark red as well. Like I said, I'm still planning and haven't really set my mind to anything just yet.

I don't know if I agree with a natural stain color. Seems it would be too bright and stand out like white stripes against the dark walls. You might want to consider staining a darker color like a deep red cherry or dark walnut. Unless by "natural" you mean stained vs. painted so the grain shows through (which is a given if you're using maple - lots of cash to spend covering up that beautiful wood).

I'm in the process of doing a total renovation. Painted the walls a Ralph Lauren River Rock Grey called Canyon. It is really nice gives the walls a kind of rough finish. Putting in a new black drop ceiling and new theater themed carpet. Hopefully I'll get some pictures soon.
