I let my jerky cook a little too long overnight. Is it possible to re-moisten it slightly?

Would anyone like to offer up their favorite jerky recipes and meats while I'm thinking about it?

When I read the post title I thought you meant reanimate the meat frankenstein style. What, hookup some jerky to electrodes? ;)

Just get a syringe filled with a glowing green re-agent and you too can be Herbert West: Beef Jerky Re-Animator!

As soon as I saw a thread title with the words "beef" and "reanimate" in the same sentence, I knew I'd find Julie in it.
Please, let's stick with beef here--can't handle any bacon references at the moment. (Just ate a tuna sub from Quizno's.) :)

Does anyone else picture the burger singing sequence from Better Off Dead right about now where he brings the burgers to life???
