I have purchased both of these amps. I don't have them yet but will within the week. I will only keep one and will offer the other here first. E-bay if no interest. I am not sure which one will sound better. I would sell the Adcom for $125 and the HK for $150.

If you have any interest, let me know-it may help my decision for which one to keep.

I might take the HK PA2000. Let me know if those prices are solid, and also pictures with rating would be nice...

Thx,

I have owned both and they perform very well. If the HK makes it's way to eBay, make sure you spell Harman Kardon correctly. I got $237.50 for my HK PA2000 back in July on eBay but I think I got rather lucky. If I were in your shoes, I would keep the Adcom but I don't know your needs.

Hopefully this comparison is helpful:

Adcom GFA-535 Pros:
- uses little rack space
- very well constructed
- bullet proof and will drive 1/2 Ohm load if you need it to
- very clean sound
- large toroidal transformer

Cons:
- I didn't care for the twist knob binding posts
- not as much power as the HK (when HK is bridged)
- can't run 4 channel like the PA2000
- no 12v trigger

HK PA2000 Pros:
- flexible 2x100 or 4x45
- adjustable output knobs to level match
- high-current design
- 12 volt trigger
- has standby mode

Cons:
- HUGE
