    Unless my brief search missed it, there's no announcement on this forum as of yet; but Amazon is showing "Poseidon" as available for pre-order.

    I'm not a huge fan of the title, but it's good to see any sign of life and forward motion on the Amazon web site. Now if they'll just catch up on the titles that release before "Poseidon".

    Yea, that have had Poseidon up for a few months now. Yet they still don't have Troy and most of the already released Paramount titles up. I just can't figure out what the heck Amazon is doing as far as HD DVD goes. They are just all over the place.

    I rented this and really enjoyed it so it's on my list of HD-DVDs to buy, but not from Amazon, their a joke to deal with.

    Poseidon is getting DolbyTrueHD
    http://www.dvdtown.com/announcement/...ofposied/4100/

    =======================
    It will be a HD-DVD and DVD combo release. The HD version will feature an "In-Movie-Experince" that displays a small screen on top of the movie while it is playing, explaining how the special effects were made. The HD version will also contain some extras in 1080p resolution plus a Dolby TrueHD soundtrack.

    what's up with them ? first universal dropping DoblyTrueHD, and now Warner is starting to do same ? [IMG] [IMG] I know I know DD+ on 1.5mbits is nice, but it's not loosless [IMG]

    and plus other bad thing is that I can survive COMBO with DlbyTrueHD, but without ? nobody will force me to buy overpriced combo [IMG]

    Exactly...if they want me to double dip on already excellent DVD's, I better get the goods. I'll hang onto my previously viewed purchase for awhile.
