I was just curious... Because when you put a sub in the trunk of car it's not open to the listener (because of the back seats, unless you have a hatchback), is it possible to put a vent or port in the rear deck behind the back seats to increase SPL? I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, I was just curious.

Thanks

Andrew

I did it in my car when I was in H/S. Increased the SPL by a few dB. You probably don't need it as cars give loads of cabin gain.

You could always remove the rear speakers and then let the sub "vent" through the holes left in the rear deck!
