Just wondering if I were to block one or two of the ports on my paradigm reference 40's, and the one on the centre channel if it might improve the sound? I have heard that certain companies(B&W to name one) recomends this sometimes. Seeing how the crossover is fixed at 100hz would there be any benefit? I am assuming that I would lose a little spl. Also anyone do the math to determine what the tuning point is?
I guess I am just trying to improve on what I got. I just got my bill for college and sadly can not afford to build the av1+'s:frowning:

Well, I dont want to sound too um, well snide about it, but why not just "do it yourself" and then do some listening.

You are, after all, the final arbiter. Do some testing with and without ports blocked and see what you get...
