I don't really focus on just one genre.

But at times I do tend to gravitate towards these:

Science Fiction

Westerns

Crime/Gangster

War

Horror - of the gothic variety (not the splatter/teen slasher films)

Historical Epics

Adventure

Fantasy

Because they're so segregated from other movies, can I say black and white movies?
If not; film noir, or do I have to call it crime?
I'm also with LisaH on screwball comedies.

I guess I'd call them screwball comedies. Stuff like Caddyshack, The Blues Brothers, Animal House.......

Drama - just beacuse it can pretty much include everything.

I don't have a favorite genre. I like anything that's good, be it drama, comedy, science-fiction, etc. The one kind of movie I don't really care for is the musical.
