I know we should just have put where we are now living, but others had put more than one place they had lived, and I just couldn't resist! The life of a military brat!

Born in Belleville Illinois and now live in Collinsville - a near neighbor. But I consider myself a St. Louisan. People not from this area of the world never understand the distinction, since Belleville is in Illinois and St. Louis is in Missouri. Let's just say, if you can see the Gateway Arch from your front yard, you are from St. Louis.
The worst is trying to explain this geographical anomaly to Chicagoans. They never understand how I can be a resident of the great state of Illinois and still be a "Cards" fan. Even On-line friends in this area are confused when I say that I am from the Metro-East area of St Louis. They seem to think that that means I must live in East St Louis - really!
For expediency, let's just say I'm from St. Louis and leave it at that! "What a revoltin' predicament!" PtS
