Since 1975. I was 5 years old...my dad had one of those systems where you put the template on the screen and you could play pong.

After that I got an Atari 2600.

Funny thing is, my grandfather who is 88, plays 2 rounds of golf (one of the EA Sports titles I think) every night.

It must be in my blood.

first "console" was a Sears version of Pong when i was......3?4? Moved on to Atari 2600 and Atari computer, can't rememeber the version. Colecovision.

then began the slippery slope of the NES. From that point on I've owned all consoles released. Except for the 3D0 and other assorted weird ones, ie. NEC

Started around 5 or 6 years old, so I guess I've been playing for 22 years or so.

Didn't have a lot of systems when I was young (no money), had a 2600, an NES, missed the next generation, but the PlayStation got me back into console gaming. Now I've got a DC, PS2 and Xbox, and am thoroughly enjoying the resurgence of gaming.

Started out at the tender age of two with a 2600 that my dad had. Didn't really know what I was doing but I remember the feel of the stick. When the NES went on its trial run we got one, it was great. My father and I played games together up until the PS/Saturn, he said the games got to complicated for him. Everyone once in a while when he comes over we pull out the Genesis and play some of our favorite games like Joe Montana Sports Talk Football 93 and Desert Strike(his favorite game).

My brother got the NES for his birthday the year it came out, and I was born in October of 1985 (I was actually born 20 days after his birthday). So I've been playing videogames ever since I was able to.

How long have you been playing video games?
23 years (ouch) and counting (that's not my age, but how long I've been playing video games).... since those beautiful, flickering, mud-colored asteroids drifted across my screen like digital snowflakes on our wood panelled Atari 2600.

My family went down to Atari (I live in Silicon Valley, remember) and got our system direct. While we were waiting, they had a break room in the building that was filled with arcade machines. Man I was in seventh heaven.

Started out with

Original Pong Console
Apple IIgs (conan, pong like game, etc)
Nintendo (all down hill from here)
Sega Genesis
PC Pentium 120
PC Pentium 200
PC Pentium II 400
Nintendo 64
PC Pentium III 667eb Dual processor
PC Pentium III 800eb
PC Pentium 4 1.7ghz
PC Pentium 4 2.4ghz

Other then that I remember playing about all of the systems at least once over at friends houses, etc.

Although not too popular some real fun was my friends Amiga running Space Ace and Dragons Layer. We would sit there all day and see who would mess up and die first. Great games.
