Polk PSW303 or Velodyne CHT10? (1 Viewer)

On a $200ish budget for a decent subwoofer for a 20' x 10' room, of which 10' x 10' is the HT.

the velodyne CHT10 is on sale for $230 shipped at www.onecall.com.

there is an opened box psw303 at CC which comes out to about $220 w/ tax.

99% movies. suggestions?

It's tough to make a good recommendation for a "$200ish" budget. At this price point you have to use the term "decent" very loosely. I've never owned anything this inexpensive so I guess I can't be of any help here. No, wait. I did have a Acoustic Research S108PS 8" 120w powered sub a few years ago and it performed more like a 10 incher. It really suprised me, especially considering I paid a little over $100 for it on the web. It's now pulling duty with one of my girlfriend's daughters.
